Tallow has been around for thousands of years and was traditionally used in cooking and candle making. Our tallow is sourced from our own steroid free, hormone free, and non-GMO cattle, ensuring the highest quality and nutrient density.

Crazy enough, Tallow skin cream is beneficial for all skin types from dry to oily! The short answer is no, or at least not on its own it's not. Tallow only has an SPF level of about 4. You can use it alongside a broad-spectrum sunscreen, or better yet a tallow-based sunscreen! Tallow is, however, great for after sun exposure! Apply to sunburns to soothe and repair your skin. For extra relief, store it in the fridge for a cooling effect. Furthermore, the essential oils used in our products are steam-distilled making them sun safe. You won't need to worry about your tallow skin cream reacting to the sunshine.
